About the role

We're looking for a Senior User Acquisition Manager to own Google Ads performance across our product portfolio. You'll manage large-scale Search campaign structures spanning dozens of countries and languages, drive profitable scaling through rigorous CPA/ROI discipline, and partner closely with data and creative teams to keep quality high as we grow. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role — you'll be in the account daily, not just reviewing dashboards. We offer a genuinely competitive salary for the right person.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the Google UA channel end-to-end — full accountability for CPA/ROI and budget across every market. Prove the model works, and we'll hand you an unlimited budget to scale it further.

  • Scale into new markets methodically: keyword research, native-language ad copy sign-off, compliance review, and QA before every launch — never launching on guesswork.

  • Make data-driven CPA/ROI calls — set and defend target CPAs per country using cohort ROI data (D7/LTV), not vanity metrics; know when a market's ROI doesn't clear the bar and say so.

  • Run the optimization loop: search-term mining, negative-keyword hygiene, bid adjustments, Quality Score / Ad Strength improvement, budget reallocation toward what's working.

  • Enforce compliance and brand safety at scale — policy-sensitive verticals require zero tolerance for banned claims, misleading copy, or trademark issues, across every language you launch in.

  • Partner cross-functionally with analytics/BI (Omni/BigQuery), creative, and product to align acquisition targets with unit economics and product changes.

Qualifications
  • 4+ years running Google Ads at meaningful scale (6-figure+ spend), ideally in consumer subscription, D2C, or performance-marketing-heavy environments.

  • Deep hands-on fluency with the Google Ads platform and API/scripts (bulk campaign builds, bidding strategies, RSA optimization, audience layering) — not just the UI.

  • Strong quantitative decision-making: comfortable with CPA/ROAS/LTV cohort math, SQL or BigQuery a strong plus.

  • Proven experience scaling into new international markets — geo/language expansion, working with native-language reviewers, adapting to local compliance nuances.

  • Sharp eye for ad policy and compliance risk — you catch a risky claim before Google does.

  • High attention to detail and comfort owning structure at scale (dozens of campaigns, hundreds of ad groups) without losing the thread.

  • Excellent written English; comfortable working with global, async teams.

Nice to have
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft/Bing Ads and/or Meta Ads alongside Google — a strong plus.

  • Familiarity with BI tools (Omni, Looker, Tableau) for cohort/ROI analysis.

  • Skills with AI-models (Claude ,OpenAI, etc ..)

  • Google Ads certifications.

Location

Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
