We are seeking a Senior UX Specialist who will lead user experience design for Training Content Management systems for commercial airline flight crews (pilots, flight attendants) and maintenance personnel. The ideal candidate will lead the user-centered design for their product teams to deliver quality user experience.

The ideal candidate will lead the user-centered design for their product teams to deliver quality user experience.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead the UX design process from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity design that effectively communicate design ideas
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience
- Stay updated in industry trend, best practices, and emerging technologies such as AI to continue improve the design process
- Advocate for the users throughout the product development life cycle, ensuring that user experience is prioritized in all decisions
- Develop and maintain reusable learning object libraries, templates, and style guides that ensure consistency across products
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience with UX design and working with a portfolio to showcase user-centered design solutions
- 3+ years of experience with performing research and analysis on processes, applications, systems and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design
- 3+ years of experience in designing and prototyping with UX tools (e.g., Figma, Invision, Sketch, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience with user research methodologies and usability testing
- 3+ years of experience advancing projects in ambiguous environments
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
- Experience working with SaaS solutions, content authoring tools, learning experience platforms, and learning management systems
- Experience with performing functional analysis on complex business processes to inform the design of training content authoring solutions
- Experience working within the aerospace industry, airline industry, or similar industry
