We are looking for a Senior User Researcher to join our team in Bellevue, WA or Boston, MA offices. In this role, you'll play a key part in advancing Chewy's customer loyalty programs and cost-saving tools for shopping. Your compassion for pets and those who care for them will drive your efforts to improve their well-being. You'll collaborate daily with designers, UXR program managers, engineers, and product managers who share a deep passion for pets and their pet parents. You'll be eager to uncover new opportunities, impact our core retail business, and craft the future of UXR at Chewy. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Exempt salary team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
Base Salary Range
$141,000-$225,500 USD

What You'll Do:
- Design and conduct research to address sophisticated and unclear user needs in emerging or evolving areas.
- Evaluate design solutions for existing concepts that require further exploration or understanding.
- Clearly link your research findings to broader business objectives and goals.
- Collaborate across teams to build consensus and guide efforts in bridging knowledge gaps.
- Identify and champion crucial customer needs and business opportunities to ensure the customer remains at the center.
- Plan, estimate, and implement intricate research projects with precision and care.
- Independently prioritize tasks and manage competing demands from various Team Members.
What You'll Need:
- 5+ years of experience as a UX researcher or in a similar role.
- Strong qualitative research skills.
- Success in delivering high-quality research that has driven significant results, with case studies showcasing your expertise.
- Ability to clearly communicate and present sophisticated user needs to influence product design.
- Strong background of assessing the impact of your research on both customer experience and business outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in the social sciences, user research, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Role requires in-office presence at the local office.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with customer loyalty or subscription programs.
- Experience with e-commerce
- Mixed methods research skills.
Work Arrangement:
- Hybrid Model: 3 days in hub location per week
