About CoinPoker

Welcome to CoinPoker, the innovative crypto-poker platform where advanced blockchain technology meets the thrilling world of online poker. At CoinPoker, we are revolutionizing the poker experience by offering fast, secure, and transparent gameplay. With recent substantial investment, we are poised to take over the online crypto-poker space and are expanding our team to support our growth.

The Opportunity

The Short-Form Content Creator is responsible for producing short-form content for CoinPoker's channels end to end, from finding the strongest moments in raw footage through to the final platform-ready edit across Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

The role is focused on scouring streams, tournaments, and partner footage for the hands, reactions, and moments that carry genuine drama, tension, or humour, cutting them into content structured to stop the scroll and hold attention through to the payoff, and maintaining consistent quality at the volume and cadence short-form demands.

The role requires a genuine feel for what makes short-form perform, including hooks, pacing, payoff placement, sound, and captions, and the poker literacy to recognise which moments are worth building content around in the first place.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create short-form content end to end for CoinPoker's channels, from finding the moment in raw footage through selection, cut, hook construction, captions, sound, and platform-native formatting, delivering finished content ready for publishing.

  • Scour streams, tournament footage, and ambassador and partner content on an ongoing basis, identifying the hands, reactions, and moments that carry genuine drama, tension, or humour, and building a bank of usable material for current and future formats.

  • Work to structural briefs on hooks, pacing, and payoff placement, applying feedback from the weekly performance review to each next edit and contributing ideas where a stronger structural approach exists.

  • Produce content across CoinPoker's repeatable formats and series, maintaining the consistency that makes formats recognisable while keeping individual edits fresh.

  • Support campaign and promotional content requirements, including tournament series, product launches, and partner collaboration clips, working to campaign briefs and deadlines alongside ongoing channel output.

  • Maintain consistent output quality at the volume and cadence short-form requires, managing your own edit pipeline and delivering reliably against the content calendar.

  • Use AI and modern editing tools wherever they make output faster or better, without letting the craft slip.

Highly Desired Knowledge and Experience:

  • A portfolio of short-form content you produced that went viral or drove significant reach, ideally in iGaming, poker, or an adjacent space, with the numbers to prove it and the ability to explain what made it work.

  • A real understanding of poker and what makes a moment compelling to a poker audience, including the ability to watch a session and know instinctively which hands, coolers, bluffs, and reactions will land, not just which are technically interesting.

  • Demonstrated ability to source content from raw footage independently, reviewing hours of streams or tournament footage and judging what is worth cutting without being told where to look.

  • Genuine feel for what stops the scroll, including hooks, pacing, payoff placement, sound, and captions, and how each platform's format and audience reward them differently.

  • Demonstrated ability to produce at speed and volume without quality collapsing, including managing your own pipeline against a content calendar.

  • Fluency with modern editing tools and AI tooling where it genuinely improves speed or quality.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.

  • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the blockchain and online gaming industry.

  • Flexible working hours and the ability to work fully remotely.

  • A collaborative and inclusive team culture.

  • Professional development opportunities and career growth within a rapidly evolving company.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
