Avida helps fitness coaches build thriving online businesses — and we’re looking for a Social Brand Strategist to lead our brand storytelling, coach support, and content strategy.

This is not your typical social media role. You’ll work directly with top-performing coaches, guide our internal team on best practices, and ensure Avida’s brand reflects the creativity and authenticity of our community. You’ll bring both creative and analytical strength — knowing how to turn content into growth.

What You’ll Do

Coach Growth & Community Support

  • Provide 1:1, data-driven guidance to 10–15 coaches weekly on social media performance and strategy.

  • Run quarterly workshops for coaches and monthly workshops for our Coach Account Managers (CAMs).

  • Build and share case studies on high-performing coaches.

  • Actively highlight coaches, ambassadors, and launches across channels to strengthen our community.

  • Manage internal newsletters for top coaches with updates, content inspiration, and wins.

Brand & Campaign Excellence

  • Lead Avida’s social media strategy across all platforms — working with our Social Media Specialist on execution and growth.

  • Develop seasonal content calendars around key launches, holidays, and community moments.

  • Roll out quarterly social + email campaigns with clear KPIs.

  • Create playbooks and templates to help coaches launch and grow with consistent, on-brand content.

  • Maintain and update the Avida website and channels to reflect active coaches and success stories.

  • Track and report performance metrics (reach, engagement, lead conversion, etc.) to show business impact.

  • Build a “best practices” library and share weekly wins and insights across the team.

What You Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing

  • Strong understanding of content strategy, analytics, and community growth

  • Excellent writing, communication, and organization skills

  • Experience coaching or collaborating with creators, influencers, or small businesses (fitness industry a plus)

  • Proven ability to turn insights into action and results

salary range for this role is 100-115k USD and dependent on location, experience, and assessment during the interview process.

At Avida, we’re about “a life well lived” — and we want our brand to reflect that across everything we do. If you love helping creators grow and thrive through social media, this role is for you.

Apply now to join a fast-growing team redefining what success looks like for online fitness coaches.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
