The role / impact

In this role, you will lead the charge in strengthening connections with our North American community of accountants and bookkeepers. You will serve as a vital link between Xero and our partners, ensuring their unique regional voices and ideas are championed within our broader content strategy. By fostering a vibrant, high-sentiment community, you will help empower small businesses and build a stronger economy.

Your work involves a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on creativity, from managing regional influencer campaigns to capturing authentic, social-first content at industry events. You will also provide dedicated social media support for Melio, helping to reposition the brand and drive credibility through engaging, platform-appropriate content and community growth initiatives.

The team / how they connect

You will join the North American Marketing team, working in close alignment with our Global Social counterparts to ensure regional activity scales effectively while remaining brand-consistent. The team operates collaboratively with external content and community agencies, as well as internal sales and product teams, to turn live experiences into polished digital assets. We value transparency and diverse perspectives, working together to deliver experiences that our customers love.

The team is currently working on / Initially, you will focus on

  • Managing and growing the Xero Partner Community Facebook group, with future expansion into Reddit and LinkedIn.

  • Capturing and producing high-quality video and photo content at key regional industry events using tools like CapCut or Canva.

  • Supporting the Melio brand by drafting platform-appropriate captions and ideating content formats to drive brand credibility.

  • Collaborating with global production agencies to execute regional influencer engagement and high-impact campaigns.

  • You bring a wealth of experience in managing and growing brand social communities, with a knack for fostering high engagement and positive sentiment.

  • A talent for visual storytelling and copywriting is essential, particularly when creating short-form video and carousels for social-first platforms.

  • You possess a proactive mindset and the resilience to move fluidly between high-level strategy and hands-on content execution.

  • Experience briefing and managing external agencies will help you scale our output and maintain high-quality standards.

  • You will have a strong understanding of SaaS or cloud environments, allowing you to translate complex technology into human, accessible content.

  • Proficiency with social media management tools such as Sprout Social and Meta Business Suite is key to tracking our performance and community health.
