Objective

To build a strong, authentic, and differentiated thought-leadership presence on LinkedIn for Adaption’s co-founders. This role focuses on drafting high-quality content that showcases their technical perspectives, leadership philosophies, and company vision, particularly in the lead-up to the company’s public launch.

Profile Overview

Our client is a stealth-mode AI company founded by two well-known AI researchers. The company is building global, adaptive AI technologies, and the co-founders are seeking a content partner to help express their individual voices on LinkedIn through high-quality posts, visual strategy, and light collaboration with internal design resources. Each co-founder has a distinct tone and area of focus, requiring a writer who can work flexibly across multiple styles and tones.

Scope

  • Commitment: 20 hours/month
  • Initial contract: Flexible trial with the aim to extend (minimum 3–6 months)
  • Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities

  • Create approximately 8 high-quality LinkedIn posts per month for each co-founder, starting from ~20 initial drafts.
  • Conduct interviews to gather ideas and capture voice.
  • Shape narratives around themes such as technical leadership, AI infrastructure, global technology, and team building that will resonate with an enterprise audience.
  • Suggest and collaborate on visual assets, guiding direction, and coordinating with internal design teams (not responsible for execution).
  • Ensure content aligns with Adaption’s evolving brand identity and post-launch strategy.
  • Coordinate deliverables and feedback through Slack and shared workspaces.
  • Participate in occasional team calls to stay aligned on tone, strategy, and context.
  • Bring technical topics to life for a sophisticated, enterprise-aligned audience.
  • Monitor engagement trends and advise on best-performing formats (polls, visuals, carousels, long-form, video, etc.).
  • Incorporate feedback and iterate drafts accordingly.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience writing for executive or founder-level social media accounts.
  • Comfortable interviewing highly technical leaders and simplifying complex ideas.
  • Demonstrated ability to write for enterprise or sophisticated tech audiences.
  • Strong editorial judgment and sensitivity to tone.
  • Familiarity with social media best practices and visual trends (especially LinkedIn).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable shaping narratives for emerging brands.
  • Strong grasp of social media dynamics and B2B/enterprise messaging.
  • Editorial or content strategy background is a plus.
  • Bonus: Background in or passion for AI/ML or experience writing for tech/AI companies.

About the Client
Our client is a forward-looking AI startup dedicated to building “adaptable intelligence,” systems that continuously learn and adapt from real-world experience rather than relying solely on traditional scaling of large language models.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
