Senior product leader role responsible for defining product strategy and roadmap, partnering with design, engineering, and stakeholders, and driving product outcomes for Affirm's offerings. Remote-first, Canada-based position with company benefits.
About the Client
A fast-growing U.S.-based growth marketing studio partnering with emerging and established food and beverage brands. They drive measurable growth through social-led creative, paid media, and content that converts across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, websites, and in-store. The team is collaborative, data-informed, and trend-obsessed, blending brand storytelling with performance creative.

Why does this role exist?
This role exists to scale the studio’s creative capacity across multiple F&B brands by producing high-impact short-form videos and motion graphics that drive organic engagement and paid performance. You will translate promotions, launches, and campaign strategies into platform-native, on-brand visuals while rapidly iterating from performance data and trend insights. As client demand grows, this role ensures a steady pipeline of thumb-stopping creative that reflects U.S. social trends, humor, and culture.

The Impact you’ll make
Short-form Video Production (Reels/TikTok/Shorts)
  • Edit raw food, drink, and lifestyle footage into engaging, platform-optimized videos
  • Craft hooks, pacing, captions, and CTAs aligned with trending formats and brand voice
  • Deliver motion graphics to enhance storytelling without overpowering live-action footage
Creative Ideation and Trend Adaptation
  • Proactively research U.S. social trends, memes, and audio—and adapt them for F&B
  • Pitch content concepts and storyboards for launches, promos, and evergreen content
  • Translate reference content and competitor insights into brand-appropriate ideas
Cross-Platform Design and Asset Adaptation
  • Design static and animated assets for social, websites, paid ads, and in-store
  • Repurpose creatives for organic and paid placements with correct specs and variants
  • Maintain brand guidelines while exploring fresh visual directions
Collaboration and Performance Iteration
  • Partner with growth marketers to align creatives to campaign goals and audiences
  • Iterate quickly based on performance feedback, retention metrics, and qualitative signals
  • Communicate progress, blockers, and timelines proactively and transparently
Project and Workflow Management
  • Manage multiple brands/projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Use templates and platform-native tools for speed without sacrificing quality
  • Leverage AI creative tools to accelerate editing, captioning, and cutdowns

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required:
  • 3–5+ years in social-focused video editing/motion graphics with a portfolio of real, shot footage edited into Reels/TikTok/Shorts for clients/companies
  • Strong track record creating organic social content (not just ads), ideally for F&B—or portfolio clearly aligned with F&B style and storytelling
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) plus CapCut/Final Cut Pro/DaVinci Resolve
  • Demonstrated fluency in U.S. short-form trends, memes, humor, and best practices across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Excellent, upbeat, and articulate communication with reliable availability to work 9–5 ET or 10–6 ET, 40 hours/week
WFH Set-Up:
    • Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
    • Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
    • Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
    • Back-up computer and internet connection
    • Quiet, dedicated workspace at home
Your Superpowers:
  • Technical: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator; CapCut/Final Cut/DaVinci Resolve; Canva; platform-native tools (IG/TikTok/YouTube); basic color, sound, and motion design; AI tools for creative acceleration
  • Creative: Short-form storytelling, hook writing, pacing, typography/layout, transitions, and on-brand motion graphics
  • Strategic: Ability to adapt trends to brand goals, interpret performance data into actionable iterations, and tailor content to organic vs. paid objectives
  • Personal: Proactive, upbeat, collaborative, and highly articulate; meticulous attention to detail; transparent communicator who flags risks early and integrates feedback quickly
You should apply if...
  • You live and breathe Reels/TikTok culture and can clearly explain your process for spotting trends and turning them into on-brand, high-engagement content
  • You thrive in fast-paced, multi-brand environments and enjoy collaborating with marketers to hit performance goals
  • You’re excited by F&B storytelling—capturing craveable moments, textures, and lifestyle—and can balance creativity with data-led iteration
  • You’re accountable, receptive to feedback, and confident presenting creative rationale to non-design stakeholders
What to expect...

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
