Job Title: Software Consultant

Job Location: United States (Remote with up to 75% travel)

What You Will Do

As a Software Consultant, you will be a high-energy, flexible, and detail-oriented trusted advisor, guiding customers through software implementation. You will act as a liaison between Trimble and the customer, promoting their success with our Trimble ConstructionOne product suite. You'll delight customers, build strong relationships with internal teams and clients, maintain advanced functional knowledge, and consistently achieve utilization targets.

  • Analyze customer business goals, objectives, and needs to ensure adoption of the Trimble ConstructionOne product suite.

  • Develop software designs that meet customers' business requirements and objectives.

  • Provide consulting services including business process review, planning sessions, setup, testing, readiness assessment, data import, and custom report needs.

  • Deliver software application training services.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/accounting, training, or technology, and 2+ years of software consulting experience.

  • Industry knowledge of software consulting, construction project management, and/or accounting software

  • High level of customer support experience with excellent project management, active listening skills, technological implementation skills, and change management experience.

  • Accomplished client-management, relationship-building, requirements gathering, and negotiating skills.

  • Ability to adapt to changes, manage competing demands, and effectively apply broad knowledge of project management and business issues.

  • Willingness and ability to quickly master training and presentation skills, with a strong initiative and customer-service orientation.

  • Ability to travel to North American (United States and Canada) customer locations for 3-5 day durations, with a valid driver’s license and eligibility for a US Passport.

About Your Location

Remote (US-based) + up to 75% on-site customer consulting. 

You will collaborate digitally from home and in various settings related to on-site customer consulting.
