To ensure fairness and transparency, the base salary range for this role for candidates in the U.S. are listed below, varying based on location experience, skills, and qualifications.  In addition to base salary, this role will also be offered equity and subsidized benefits (details available upon request).



About the Role

We are looking for a talented and experienced Software Developer experienced in developing backend services using cloud native technologies. As a member of this team, you will design, build, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services. You will work closely with the product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver robust solutions that power our cutting-edge products that run in the cloud and the edge.


Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using Go (Golang).

· Build and manage scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services and APIs.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, DevOps) to define, design, and ship new features.

· Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring high availability and responsiveness.

· Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality.

· Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems.

· Work with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deploy applications in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

· Maintain code documentation and architecture design records.

· Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.


Qualifications:

· 3-5+ years of backend development experience with a strong focus on Golang.

· Solid understanding of Go’s paradigms, idioms, and best practices.

· Experience with RESTful APIs and/or gRPC for building services.

· Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).

· Strong knowledge of concurrency in Go, and an understanding of Go routines and channels.

· Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and working in distributed cloud-native environments.

· Proficiency in version control systems (Git).

· Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.

· Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and performance tuning.
