What will you do? 

Our Software Development Engineer provides cutting-edge software development support by analyzing business requirements to design and develop appropriate system solutions. They bring proven expertise in designing, developing, deploying, monitoring, and supporting scalable systems and agentic platforms, leveraging AI and cloud technologies to deliver exceptional results. They also collaborate closely with Architects to ensure that applications align with company service level standards and roadmap requirements.  

 

 

 

Your Primary Responsibilities will include:  

  • Design Reliable Full-Stack Solutions:
    • Analyze and translate complex business requirements into scalable, reusable, and future-proof system solutions.  
    • Develop full-stack applications (Salesforce front-end and back-end customizations) with occasional work on cross-platform frameworks like React, Next.js, or Python to enable broader solutions.
  • Agentic Frameworks Expertise:
    • Develop and implement solutions using agentic frameworks such as AgentForce, or an equivalent, for automating processes and driving efficiency.
  • Salesforce Development:
    • Create robust Salesforce features (Apex, Aura, LWC components) with secure and high-performance design.  
    • Seamlessly integrate Salesforce with external/internal systems and authentication patterns (e.g., OAuth).
  • AI-Driven Enhancements:
    • Apply AI-driven tools like Copilot or Codex to optimize workflows and introduce predictive and automation features into systems.
  • Cloud and AWS Development:
    • Build, deploy, and maintain services using AWS ecosystem tools. Adapt integration practices with secure authentication methods such as API Gateway and IAM roles.
  • CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile:
    • Manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment using tools like GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.  
    • Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum environment, engaging dynamically with architects and product stakeholders.
  • Monitor and Improve Systems:
    • Partner with reliability engineers to ensure applications meet performance, security, and operational needs.  
    • Identify opportunities for innovation using AI tools to enhance automation and productivity.

What do you need to be successful in this role?  

  • Experience & Expertise:
    • 5+ years of full-stack development experience at scale, with strong exposure to Salesforce and agentic frameworks (e.g., AgentForce or other).  
    • Advanced Salesforce skills: AgentForce, Data Cloud, Apex, Aura, and Lightning Web Components.  
    • Proven ability to build solutions using agentic platforms for process automation and scalability.  
    • Solid understanding of AWS services (deployment, authentication, integration patterns).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in web development and cross-platform frameworks (React, TypeScript, Java Spring Boot, Python).  
    • Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, CosmosDB).  
    • Competence in leveraging AI-assisted workflows for development cycles and automation.
  • Soft Skills & Values:
    • Strong communication skills, Agile methodology experience, and problem-solving abilities.  
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.   
    • Commitment to teamwork, innovation, and customer-centric results.

  • Salesforce Certifications: 

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer (required) 

  • AgentForce Specialist (preferred)

The annual base pay for this position is: $152,200.00 - $228,400.00

F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
