Auger is the autonomous operating system for supply chains. It connects enterprise supply chain systems—ERP, WMS, TMS—into a single data layer, then uses AI to detect problems, evaluate trade-offs, and execute decisions automatically. We need team members who are ready and willing to take on a variety of challenges and bring an abiding curiosity about the “what’s” and “why’s” of the data and technology. You’ll thrive if you’re a resilient, driven, and confident, developer who brings the determination to tackle one of the most complex and consequential challenges in the world. Specific qualifications we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience, with expertise in Java or Python.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems.
- Prior experience building scalable SaaS platforms or enterprise applications.
- Ability to work in-person from our Bellevue Headquarters.
- Ability to work on-call rotations.
- Ability to work collaboratively through ambiguity, with urgency, patience, and good humor.
- Knowledge of supply chain systems or logistics is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and techniques (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) or real-time data streaming platforms (Kafka, Flink).
- Experience tinkering with side projects, open-source contributions, or anything that shows you love to build and learn.

The package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and commuter benefits. Total compensation may include a combination of a competitive base salary and equity. Your initial placement within our salary range will be based on your experience, qualifications.
The base pay range for this role is $150,000 – $200,000 per year.
