Build the future of the AI Data Cloud. Join the Snowflake team.

There is only one Data Cloud.

Snowflake’s founders started from scratch and designed a data platform built for the cloud that is effective, affordable, and accessible to all data users. But it didn’t stop there. They engineered Snowflake to power the Data Cloud, where thousands of organizations unlock the value of their data with near-unlimited scale, concurrency, and performance. This is our vision: a world with endless insights to tackle the challenges and opportunities of today and reveal the possibilities of tomorrow.

A major part of this offering is ensuring that customers’ workloads are running efficiently and showing customers that they are getting the value they deserve out of the workloads they are running. To do that we need to provide customers with transparency, controls and optimizations around their costs.

The cost optimization team at Snowflake is responsible for executing on providing this functionality to customers. We have started by ensuring our customers know exactly what their costs are and providing clear controls over where they are spending that fit into their existing business workflows. We will fast follow with insights into explicit optimizations our customers can perform to be even more efficient with their spend. Over time, the team will delight users by automatically optimizing customer workloads so that they get the best return on their spend.
