ABOUT THE ROLE
Facility Optimization Solutions, LLC (FOS), a subsidiary of CannonDesign, is hiring a Software Engineer to support and enhance our consumer-facing platform for cost estimating, job order contracting, and facility optimization. This is a great opportunity to work across a modern tech stack while contributing to software that has a meaningful impact on our enterprise customers.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and maintain web and desktop applications using .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, and VB.NET
- Enhance user interfaces with DevExpress controls and front-end logic in JavaScript
- Support containerization efforts using Docker and deployments to AWS
- Work with technical leads and business users to gather requirements, develop user stories and implement features
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment processes
- Learn and apply AEC-specific domain knowledge, especially around cost estimating and job order contracting
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Minimum 2 years of related experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Professional development experience with .NET technologies required.
- Working knowledge of Docker, AWS, and web-based application development
- Familiarity or interest in the AEC industry and related business systems
- Experience with DevExpress is a plus
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn complex business processes
The salary range for this position is $92,200 to $115,200 annually. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for the position. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses. We offer a full benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage and flexible spending account options and voluntary insurances.
