As a Software Engineer, Full Stack you will be joining our fast-moving product engineering team working on the future of our alerting platform. In this role you will build and maintain high-quality prototypes and production-ready features written in Scala, Java, Go, Python, and Typescript (React) while partnering with AI research scientists, designers, and engineers to bring innovative, applied AI research into production, at very large scale. This US-based role can be remote or based out of our New York City office.

The opportunity

  • Influence the next iterations of our architecture as we strive to get critical data to our clients faster and with near-perfect reliability.

  • Implement industry best practices along with novel patterns and technologies that will help improve the codebase and the product.

  • Contribute code to production systems from the get-go.

  • Share responsibility for several microservices and design significant features that impact multiple services.

  • Partner with other members of the team to plan and deliver the next iteration of our customer applications to support emerging use cases for our product.

What you bring

  • 4+ years of experience in a full-stack development role

  • Experience with Java (or other object oriented languages) and React, JavaScript, and TypeScript

  • Experience working with streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, etc), databases (Postgres, MySQL, etc)

  • Experience with RESTful services, web sockets, GRPC and Protobuf

  • Ability and desire to work with new languages if necessary

  • Strong design sense and skills to build visually appealing prototypes that follow good user interaction guidelines and integrate well with existing and new workflows.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

  • Experience with human-centered design and development processes and interest in building AI-enabled tools and workflows

The annual base salary range for this position is $134,400 - $200,000. You will also be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus and Company equity. Actual salary will be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, applicant skills, and prior relevant experience.
