Aurora hires talented people with diverse backgrounds who are ready to help build a transportation ecosystem that will make our roads safer, get crucial goods where they need to go, and make mobility more efficient and accessible for all. We’re searching for a Software Engineer to join Aurora’s Cloud Platform team. The Cloud Platform team is responsible for building and maintaining Aurora’s cloud infrastructure and development platform.
In this role, you will
- Build developer-facing tooling and infrastructure that creates developer happiness and improves development velocity
- Work with teams across the company to gather requirements, gather support and drive projects forward
- Learn how to diagnose and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues
Required Qualifications
- Ability to take direction and learn quickly
- Energetic, positive attitude
- Demonstrated interest in Cloud Infrastructure
- 1+ years demonstrated professional experience shipping commercial products and services in Go or Python.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience building and operating services on Kubernetes
- Experience operating and debugging distributed systems
- Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS & Terraform preferred)
Pay Range
The base range for this position is $114,000 - $149,000. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
