We’re looking for a .NET Engineer to help drive the architecture and development of critical backend services. You’ll work closely with product and engineering stakeholders to build high-performance systems, modernize legacy applications, and support future-facing projects. While the focus is on .NET services, experience with app development (e.g. React Native) is a plus.
This position will be located in Bellevue, WA with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office (Mon/Tue/Wed) and 2 days remote (Thursday/Friday).
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of robust backend services using .NET (C#) and PostgreSQL
- Upgrade and refactor existing .NET applications for performance, maintainability, and scalability
- Implement testing frameworks and performance benchmarking for critical services
- Collaborate cross-functionally to plan, scope, and deliver features across product areas
- Contribute to occasional front-end or mobile initiatives as needed (preferably with React Native)
Requirements
- BS or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 2+ years of experience building production-grade applications using .NET / C#
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and software architecture principles
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- Experience owning the full lifecycle of backend services: design, deployment, testing, monitoring
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in AWS environments (e.g., EC2, S3, ECS, Lambda)
- Familiarity with ClickHouse or similar high-performance OLAP databases
- Experience using Datadog for monitoring and performance insights
- Exposure to React Native or other mobile frameworks is a plus
- Comfortable working in containerized environments with Docker
- Familiarity with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tooling
Salary
- $130,000-$170,000 Base Salary + Equity
Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to job-related knowledge, level of relevant experience, education and skills.
