SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

This position is responsible for working as part of a team, enhancing and maintaining existing software products. The ideal candidate is enrolled in a related software development program and has experience with IBM i, RPG, Java, and CL.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Implement all assigned tasks.
  • Will work within a team structure.
  • Assist customer support with diagnosing and resolving escalated requests.
  • Diagnose and fix assigned defects and enhancements within the assigned project.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Be currently enrolled in a software development-related degree program.
  • Some relevant coursework or experience with IBM i, RPG, Java, and/or CL.
  • Some knowledge and understanding of the Agile/Scrum Project development methodology preferred.
  • Good communications skills both verbal and written.
  • The ability to collaborate and work with on team are necessary.
  • Some previous coding experience is necessary - either in an education or professional environment.
