Software Engineering Intern - Voice
Why We Have This Role
Our team is a group of dedicated engineers who are at the forefront of audio processing and telecom technologies. The Voice team within the Qualtrics Engineering Organization is responsible for developing and managing services that process and transcribe over 1 million calls daily for a diverse range of customers. We create robust tools that not only enhance voice processing but also streamline operational efficiency, all within a fully AWS-based environment.
We are looking for a software engineering intern to join us in designing and developing scalable components for our voice processing systems. In our collaborative and dynamic culture, you will have ample opportunities to impact our full-stack platform while expanding your technical expertise and deepening your knowledge of industry standards.

How You’ll Grow
- Develop the ability to build scalable, fast, robust, and simple SaaS solutions
- Develop familiarity with full-stack development, leveraging modern languages, frameworks, and cloud infrastructure
- Gain experience with the entire software development lifecycle, from design through to implementation and delivering value to our customers
- Benefit from working alongside other engineers, tech-ops, and product managers
- Learn Agile methodologies by attending daily stand-up meetings, defining project milestones, and prioritizing your tasks
Things You’ll Do
- You'll own a project, intended to push you out of your comfort zone and deliver real value to our customers
- Work alongside your mentor and product manager to define requirements and come up with a technical design
- Implement your project, as well as adding tests, monitoring, alerting, documentation, etc.
- Work with Kubernetes, Go, NodeJS, Typescript, MongoDB, and various AWS services
- Participate in your team’s planning processes, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and more
- Learn from other engineers and technical leaders through trainings, lunch ‘n’ learns, career discussions, and more
What We’re Looking For On Your Resume
- Currently working on a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, with an anticipated graduation date no later than 2026
- Experience with any of the technologies we support (Go, JavaScript/Typescript/NodeJS, SQL, MongoDB, AWS, React, HTML/CSS)
- Ability to work from our Seattle, WA office 3 days/week
- Must be legally authorized to work in job location without Qualtrics sponsorship now or in the future

For full-time positions, this pay range is for base per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be included in an employment offer, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and other benefits, based on eligibility criteria.
