Software Engineer Intern

Seeking for an internship in USA to support Valence project. Android app to guide collection vehicles on routes that need to have their data refreshed. The application communicates with hardware sensors on the vehicles (Camera, LiDar, GPS, storage), and streams progress information to the Nucleus service. For routing and navigation the app uses HERE’s Navigate SDK.

Project includes 1) Implementing  new feature requests, and bug fixes for the Valence android application2) Add/update unit tests for new logic, ensure local and CI builds pass, and document all changes

Skills needed:

• Java/Kotlin proficiency

• Android development experience (frontend UI and backend)

• Testing, CI & Git workflows

This is a full-time paid internship (20 to 40 hours per week) with a fixed hourly rate of depending on your level of education as follows:

Undergraduate Students: $25/hr

Graduate Students: $30/hr

PhD Students: $35/hr
