Software Engineer Junior/Mid-Level
Why This is an Exciting Role:
As a Backend Software Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics you will be responsible to:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software solutions under guidance
• Collaborate with senior engineers and team leads to implement features and resolve technical challenges
• Analyze user requirements to support software design and performance objectives
• Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Assist with design and code reviews to ensure quality and consistency
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues across the development lifecycle
• Contribute to documentation, testing, and continuous improvement efforts
• Work on well-defined problems of moderate scope with guidance from senior team members

Experience and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited institution and 7+ years of relevant experience, OR
• Four (4) additional years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Experience assisting with development & execution of test procedures for software components
• Experience with generating & reviewing software/technical documentation
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment
• Experience using with Jira and Confluence
• Ensuring quality control of all developed and modified software
• Experience with the following technologies:
  • Git
  • Java, C++, Python
  • Relational database, such as Postgres
  • SQL

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with:
  • Docker/Kubernetes
  • HAProxy
  • Nginx
  • Elastic Stack

Telework/Remote Availability: Hybrid work authorized, up to 16 hours per week, depending on team and workload

Summary Pay Range:
Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
$144,000 - $199,000
