What You'll Do

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts with frameworks, using tools such as Cypress, RestSharp, etc.
- W ork with the team to design and implement software, emphasizing quality principles, patterns, and testing practices.
- D esign user-based interactions through effective front-end architecture.
- R eview code written by peers, focusing on readability and efficiency.
- C ontinuously learn about new tools and technologies.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will also:
- Support the team with delivery by sharing comprehensive feedback during code reviews and guidance with complex technical problem solving.
- Contribute to technical decisions by identifying opportunities and risks.
- Share knowledge of software development languages and frameworks as well as testing strategies
- Support with continuous improvement of internal processes and documentation to champion a principles-based approaches to design, implementation, and testing.

The Software Engineer position requires:
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering
- Experience in software development languages and frameworks, such as C#, .NET, OR Golang, React, as well as JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Knowledge of and experience with modern test strategies and quality gating policies within CI/CT/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of different types of testing, including unit, functional, regression, integration, load, and system testing. You understand the roles fulfilled by each and can determine appropriate applications for each within the development lifecycle.
- Experience with UI and API Testing, with frameworks such as RestSharp and Cypress
- Genuine passion for programming. You are driven by principles-based approaches to design, implementation, and testing.
- Strong understanding of the web development lifecycle and programming techniques and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and a focus on effective problem-solving.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to fully engage in team discussions, debates, and reviews on coding approaches and design elements while maintaining a positive and constructive tone.
The Senior Software Engineer position requires:
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including experience providing guidance and support to members of the team
- D emonstrated experience working across software development languages and frameworks, such as C#, .NET, OR Golang, React, as well as JavaScript or TypeScript.
- P assion for continuously expanding knowledge of programming and web development while driving toward principles-based approaches for design, implementation and testing
- A dvanced knowledge of experience with modern test strategies and quality gating policies within CI/CT/CD pipelines.
- H igh proficiency with UI and API Testing, with frameworks such as RestSharp and Cypress
- A dvanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts to support others with complex problem solving
- D emonstrated ability to advance discussions, debates, and reviews on coding and design elements while contributing to positive and constructive communication across the team
You may have other skills or credentials, including:
- Experience with building components and web applications in React.
- Experience with Golang.
- Experience with microservice architecture, cloud computing and related technologies such as GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Apigee, Terraform, Helm, Istio, Envoy, and DataDog.
- Experience or training with Agile Scrum methodology.
- Experience with GitLab and continuous integration best practices.
- Experience or training in REST web service development.
- Experience in security and performance testing.
