Things You’ll Do
- Modernize the Rule-Editing Experience: Deliver the next generation rules-based Text Analytics project by successfully transitioning the Qualtrics Text Analytics platform from a legacy stack to a modern, AI-infused architecture.
- Drive Team Velocity: Execute high-functioning Scrum ceremonies, removing bottlenecks and ensuring technical estimates are accurate and ambitious.
- Elevate Engineering Talent: Manage the career growth and performance of 6-7 engineers, balancing technical mentorship with effective people management.
- Ensure Feature Parity: Lead the team in a wholesale UX revamp that maintains 100% of existing functionality while adding natural language capabilities.
- Bridge Cross-Functional Gaps: Align with UX and Product stakeholders to translate a complex modernization vision into actionable technical roadmaps.
What We’re Looking For On Your Resume
- 4-5 years of People Management experience: You have a proven track record of leading engineering teams through complex delivery cycles.
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Technical Fluency: You have a strong background in software development and can deeply understand the technical details of what your team is building.
- Preference for Experience with AI/NLP Integration: Ideally, you’ve worked on products that leverage Natural Language Processing or integrated AI natively into the user experience.

For full-time positions, this pay range is for base per year; however, base pay offered within this range may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be included in an employment offer.
