Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure, gas-efficient Solidity smart contracts and decentralized applications on EVM-compatible networks. Responsibilities include contract testing with Foundry or Hardhat, gas optimization, code reviews, security audit remediation, dApp and backend integration, deployment automation, upgrade patterns, CI/CD, on-chain monitoring, and incident response. The role also requires staying current with EIPs, EVM changes, and smart contract security practices.
We are seeking a talented Solidity Smart Contract Developer to design, build, and maintain secure, gas-efficient smart contracts on EVM-compatible networks. You will work closely with our engineering, product, and security teams to deliver production-grade decentralized applications (dApps) and protocol infrastructure. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving Web3 environment and cares deeply about code correctness and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Solidity smart contracts (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, and custom protocol logic)
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using Foundry and/or Hardhat
- Perform gas optimization and code refactoring for efficiency and readability
- Conduct internal code reviews and participate in external security audit processes
- Integrate smart contracts with frontend dApps via ethers.js/viem and backend services
- Collaborate with auditors to remediate findings and document security decisions
- Maintain deployment scripts, upgrade patterns (proxy contracts), and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor on-chain activity and respond to incidents post-deployment
- Stay current with EIPs, EVM changes, and emerging security best practices
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional Solidity development experience (or equivalent demonstrable portfolio)
- Strong understanding of the EVM, gas mechanics, and smart contract security patterns
- Proficiency with Foundry and/or Hardhat, plus Git and CI/CD workflows
- Experience with OpenZeppelin contracts and common token standards
- Solid grasp of blockchain fundamentals: accounts, transactions, reentrancy, access control, upgradability
- Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for testing and integration
- Strong written communication skills for technical documentation
Nice to Have
- Experience with DeFi protocols, NFTs, DAOs, or Layer 2 solutions
- Familiarity with The Graph, IPFS, or oracle integrations (Chainlink)
- Understanding of formal verification tools (Certora, Slither, Mythril)
- Prior experience responding to or participating in security audits
- Contributions to open-source Web3 projects
- Rust or Go experience for cross-chain or backend work
What We Offer
- Competitive salary (range: $120,000 – $180,000 USD, depending on experience) + token/equity incentives
- Remote-first culture with flexible hours
- Learning budget for courses, conferences, and certifications
- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge decentralized technology with a collaborative team
How to Apply
Submit your resume, GitHub profile, and links to deployed contracts or audit reports. Candidates may be asked to complete a short take-home smart contract challenge.
