ABOUT THIS POSITION

This Manager position reports to our Director of Solution Adoption and has responsibility for leading a team of Solution Adoption Consultants who are accountable for managing the on-boarding experience for new and existing clients. The goal of the position is to ensure client satisfaction and predictable results.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Partner with sales team to support acquisition of enterprise accounts 

  • Deliver on-boarding experiences that lead to lifetime clients 

  • Build high performing team focused on project methodology, delivering predictable, repeatable projects and revenue based on forecast 

  • Develop a bench of individual performers to support our aggressive growth plans 

  • Understand and support the client project success criteria and metrics 

  • Conduct weekly team meetings 

  • Attend to Enterprise team's emergency requests when necessary 

  • Proactively contact clients to keep satisfaction at a high level 

  • Act as a motivator to keep the morale up among team members 

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the solution adoption process 

  • Coordinate Waystar project team resources and deliverables 

  • Proactively identify and execute on opportunities for process improvements 

  • Develop training programs to onboard new consultants and expand the skills of the existing consultants.  

  • Clearly communicate both in oral and written form, operational results to team members, executive management, vendor partners, and clients 

  • Other duties as assigned 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 4+ years working/managing primarily in Patient Access/Authorization processes.  Thorough understanding of steps involved in obtaining prior authorizations from payer sites 
  • Proven leadership and issue resolution abilities 
  • Strong process orientation, problem solving & troubleshooting skills, and a firm commitment to quality 
  • HIPAA regulation knowledge 
  • Healthcare terminology 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Good written and oral communication skills; team player 
  • Experience with EDI and/or healthcare transactions desired 
  • Ability to travel up to 50% 
  • Preferred Knowledge 
  • Experience with Epic or Cerner EMR 
  • Experience with Recondo Technology Authorization suite       
  • Payer Benefit Plans 
  • Payer / Hospital Contracts 
  • Healthcare code sets 
  • Obtaining prior authorizations from payer sites 
  • Education 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Healthcare, CIS, CS or MIS
