Solution Architect - Salesforce Data 360
Location: Fully remote (United States)
We are searching for a seasoned Solution Architect and pioneer of the newly rebranded Salesforce Data 360 (formerly Data Cloud) to join the fastest-growing partner in the Salesforce ecosystem. This role demands a deep commitment to transforming how businesses activate trusted data everywhere. You will lead the charge by unifying fragmented enterprise data into a complete, actionable view using Zero-Copy integrations (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) to power real-time workflows and the complete Customer 360.
As part of the Salesforce Data 360 and Agentforce Marketing Capability, you will be the champion of Data 360, utilizing your hands-on implementation experience to lead all discovery workshops and showcasing your deep product knowledge during the pre-sales process. In this role, you’ll define the full architecture and data strategy that powers Salesforce Data 360 implementations. You’ll design across all core layers including ingestion, unification, activation, and orchestration that ensures data is harmonized, trusted, and ready for AI-driven activation. You’ll model and resolve customer identities, define data streams and calculated insights, and architect Zero-Copy integrations using Snowflake Secure Data Sharing and Databricks Delta Sharing. A deep understanding of data governance, privacy, and consent management (GDPR, CCPA) is key.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all discovery workshops to define the client's vision, strategy, and detailed requirements for their Data 360 and Marketing Cloud initiatives.
- Architect enterprise data solutions utilizing Salesforce Data 360's (formerly Data Cloud) Zero-Copy architecture to unify fragmented data and create a single, actionable view of the customer.
- Provide functional expertise in developing unique campaign strategies, customer lifecycle management, and journey mapping to power real-time, personalized communications across all channels.
- Design the data strategy necessary to align a client's diverse data sources to their marketing goals and campaigns, ensuring data is reliable, accessible, and actionable.
- Serve as the subject matter expert with a deep understanding of all Salesforce Data 360, best practices, and knowledge of the product roadmap and newer capabilities.
- Design solutions that leverage Data 360 for building precise segments and delivering real-time communications across the Customer 360, including B2B (lead management, ABM) and B2C client needs.
- Architect complex integrations with other Salesforce products (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) utilizing the MC Connector and custom integration points, as well as external standard and custom data sources.
- Utilize deep product knowledge and hands-on implementation experience to lead and support the pre-sales process.
Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of consulting experience within the Salesforce ecosystem implementing Salesforce Data Cloud/CDP/Customer 360 (ideally having 2+ end-to-end Data Cloud implementations including data ingestion, unification, identity resolution, and activation.) (Required)
- Ability to architect integrations with other Salesforce products including Service, Sales, and Marketing Clouds (Required)
- Consulting and implementation experience with MC Personalization, Intelligence, and/or Tableau (Preferred)
- High comfortability with the integration of standard and custom data sources
- Comfort with SQL, JSON, data transformation, and query languages for debugging or prototyping.
- Strong business processes, process documentation, and process improvement skills, with the ability to associate everyday tactics to metrics defined in discovery
