You will define and govern solution designs, integrating with telecom and financial ecosystems to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant services. The role works across the Ericsson Fintech Platform / Ericsson Wallet Platform (EWP) and its open API architecture to enable robust mobile financial solutions.

What you will do
- Discovery & Requirements
- Elicit business and non-functional requirements; translate into architecture principles, patterns, and interface contracts.
- Architecture & Design
- Own E2E solution architecture: domain models, service decomposition, integration patterns, security zones, data flows, and scaling strategies.
- Leverage microservices and containerized components to build resilient, cloud-ready deployments.
- Security & Compliance
- Design for security-by-default (encryption in transit/at rest, secrets handling, IAM), fraud management, and regulatory adherence (AML/KYC, PCI-DSS, PSD2).
- Integration & APIs
- Define and govern API-first integrations (REST, events) across wallets, charging/billing, merchant acquiring, remittance, identity, and risk engines; ensure open ecosystem extensibility.
- Cloud & Infrastructure
- Guide target-state on Kubernetes, hybrid/public cloud, networking, and observability; ensure HA/DR, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Data & Reliability
- Architect for auditability, idempotency, exactly-once / at-least-once processing where required; design data retention and lineage.
- Delivery Governance
- Produce and maintain HLD/LLD, sequence diagrams, interface specs, security and compliance traceability; run design reviews and gate approvals.
- Stakeholder Leadership
- Partner with product, engineering, operations, security, compliance, and customer teams; provide pre-sales support (RFI/RFP, SoW scoping) and solution costing.
- Continuous Improvement
- Benchmark platform capabilities; drive roadmap inputs for scale, security, and ecosystem growth aligned to Ericsson Mobile Financial Services strategy.
The skills you bring
- 8+ years in solution architecture for fintech/payments/mobile money; 3+ years leading complex integrations across telecom/financial ecosystems.
- Hands-on with API-first platforms; experience with EWP / wallet platforms strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of payments domains: wallet, P2P, merchant payments, collections/disbursements, remittance, savings/loans.
- Expertise in cloud-native design: Kubernetes, service mesh, ingress/egress, secrets, CI/CD, SRE, and observability.
- Security/regulatory: PCI-DSS, AML/KYC, PSD2/Open Banking, data privacy; threat modeling and fraud controls.
- Integration: REST/JSON, events/streaming, message queues, OAuth/OIDC; patterns (saga, outbox, CQRS).
- Data: relational/NoSQL, ledgering, reconciliation, reporting/BI.
- Strong communication; able to simplify complexity for non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred skills:
- Deployments with CSPs and large enterprises; scaling agent networks and merchant ecosystems.
- Performance tuning for high-transaction platforms and real-time risk.
- Familiarity with Ericsson Mobile Financial Services portfolio and reference architectures.
- Certifications: CISSP/CCSP, CISA, AWS/Azure Architect, CKA/CKAD.
- 10-15% travel for customer workshops, design reviews, and launches. only as needed.
