We are seeking driven, high-energy, networking savvy candidates to join the Solutions Architecture team. You will help major cloud platforms develop, validate, and deploy world-leading networking solutions using NVIDIA NICs and DPUs. You’ll bridge customer needs with advanced product execution, collaborating across engineering, sales, and product teams. Come join us!

What you'll be doing:

  • Introduce, qualify, and integrate NVIDIA NIC and DPU products with cloud service providers, addressing sophisticated and obvious customer issues.

  • Build customer trust and understanding their outstanding networking requirements will be crucial.

  • Run technical meetings such as project evaluations, feature discussions, debugging sessions, and workshops.

  • Optimize host networking and performance by analyzing bottlenecks (CPU, PCIe, memory, NUMA) and develop PoC solutions for critical business needs.

  • Lead presale and architecture activities with customers and implementing innovative networking solutions, including Spectrum switch, ConnectX network adapter, and Bluefield DPU

What we need to see:

  • BS/MS/PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or other Engineering fields or equivalent experience is required.

  • 12+ years in Solution Engineering or similar roles.

  • A proven background in data center and cloud provider network architecture is necessary.

  • Passion for improving customer experience is essential.

  • Hands-on experience with NIC hardware and software stacks, including configuration, testing, and solving, is required.

  • You must have proficiency in networking fundamentals, such as NICs, switching, and protocols in modern data centers. Comprehensive knowledge of computer system architecture, Linux, PCIe devices, and networking management protocols is needed.

  • Work independently, manage priorities well, and have excellent communication skills to serve as a trusted advisor.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Exhibit practical experience with NICs, DPUs, and Ethernet switches.

  • Knowledge of system and board-level development trade-offs for high-performance NIC integration (thermal, power, signal integrity, BMC, BIOS integration) will set you apart.

  • Experience working with Cloud Service Providers and showcasing in-depth knowledge of RDMA, Collectives, and AI benchmarking will be highly valued.

  • A background with NVIDIA hardware/software will make you a standout candidate!

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
