About the Role:

We're looking for a Solutions Architect to join our growing SA team. Solutions Architects at Pentera are the top product experts: the go-to point of contact between customers and every internal team. You'll design and deploy Pentera's platform in complex enterprise environments, lead technical deep-dives with security teams, and translate real-world attack trends into actionable remediation guidance. This is a role that sits at the intersection of offensive security, customer impact, and product influence.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design deployment solutions for the Pentera platform in complex customer environments, ensuring maximum coverage and value
  • Lead technical deep-dive sessions with cybersecurity experts, guiding them through penetration testing procedures and remediation strategies
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of security trends, threats, and attack techniques to improve both customer outcomes and the Pentera platform
  • Act as a product expert focused on customer education, driving adoption and identifying service expansion opportunities
  • Serve as the bridge between customers and internal teams (Product, R&D, Support), surfacing recurring issues and influencing platform improvements
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, contributing directly to retention and growth
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of hands-on penetration testing or red team operations experience, with a deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts
  • Scripting capabilities: Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar
  • Ability to communicate complex technical details to audiences with varying levels of expertise
  • Strong problem-solving skills and creative, out-of-the-box thinking
  • Self-sufficient, autodidact, team player with a collaborative attitude
  • Willingness to travel periodically based on customer and business needs

Nice to Have:

  • CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent certifications

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
