A Solution Architecture role is crucial to an organization in the way that they bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Overseeing the strategic and technical implementation of solutions is key to ensuring systems are scalable, secure, resilient, highly integrated, and efficient. Creating and maintaining a comprehensive overview of systems, data, and interactions ensures that teams optimally interact, and duplication is minimized. The Solution Architect provides a cohesiveness between multiple systems, teams, services, and organizations and is continually forward thinking.
The role will seek to define the technical vision and design that align to stakeholder needs and desired capabilities. Always seeking to stay out ahead of delivery goals, the Solution Architect is future focused and maintains a deep understanding of current system limitations or opportunities to ensure we are prepared for the best implementation plans. The majority of their time goes into creating architecture implementation plans by gathering requirements and breaking down the project into manageable chunks.
The Solution Architect is also a keen problem solver with expertise in key areas of system design and development. This role is crucial to the seamless collaboration between stakeholders and requires that the Solution Architect be highly collaborative and communicative to close gaps and ensure a smooth transition from ideation to delivery.
A dedicated full-time Solution Architect will provide the cohesiveness that is required between multiple ARTs, teams, applications, and services. In addition, the roles have been occupied by consultants or contractors which can lead to concerns of continuity as well as conflicting priorities. The internal ownership and thought leadership from a Spectrum Reach employee can widen the business knowledge and align better to the strategic goals and vision.
Provide the Application Development Solution Architecture for all of the development teams engaged within Spectrum Reach and the core applications of Architect, Hubble, Architect Reporting, Audience Finder, Auto Analyzer, RADR, and common services. This includes systems, services, and integrations for an overarching and seamless vision. This will provide direction for frameworks, standards, cloud best practices, and ensure adherence to Charter Enterprise or Spectrum Reach policies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and analyze business requirements: Understand the business needs and translate them into technical specifications
  • Design technical solutions: Create architecture frameworks, policies, standards, and document for ARB review and approval
  • Ensure Cohesion: Oversee development, define specifications, and manage collaboration with outside architects and technical leads
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with product, business, and customers
  • Provide technical expertise: Lead technical designs and provide advice on design solutions
  • Mentor tech leads and developers to ensure cohesion of vision to implementation

Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of architecture principles
  • Knowledge of how different areas integrate within architecture
  • Experience with enterprise architecture
  • Experience with cloud technologies expecially AWS
  • Experience with IT frameworks
  • Experience with Snowfalke
  • Experience with API's
  • Experinece with AI
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and SAFe
  • 7 years' of Solution Architect experience leading solutions across large-scale and highly integration systems.
  • 7 years' within all phases of the software development life cycle and solution delivery for web, client-server, and cloud-based systems.
  • Good knowledge of modern software engineering principles and best practices.
  • 10 years' work experience as an architect, project manager, or developer.
  • Certificates to demonstrate knowledge and competency in AWS

Education:
  • A Bachelor's or post-graduate degree in IT, computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience

The base pay for this position generally is between
$100,600.00 and $196,400.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
