About Juniper Square

Our mission is to unlock the full potential of private markets. Privately owned assets like commercial real estate, private equity, and venture capital make up half of our financial ecosystem yet remain inaccessible to most people. We are digitizing these markets, and as a result, bringing efficiency, transparency, and access to one of the most productive corners of our financial ecosystem. If you care about making the world a better place by making markets work better through technology – all while contributing as a member of a values-driven organization – we want to hear from you.

Juniper Square offers employees a variety of ways to work, ranging from a fully remote experience to working full-time in one of our physical offices. We invest heavily in digital-first operations, allowing our teams to collaborate effectively across 27 U.S. states, 2 Canadian Provinces, India, Luxembourg, and England. We also have physical offices in San Francisco, New York City, Mumbai and Bangalore for employees who prefer to work in an office some or all of the time.

About your role

The Solutions Consulting Organization is an integral component of the Sales Organization. Solutions Consultants have a direct impact on revenue generation and serve as the technical expert for the Sales Organization by consulting with prospective customers to tackle their most complex business challenges. We partner closely with Account Executives to bring net new customers onto Juniper Square’s software and services. Solution Consultants also serve as the bridge to the Product team, influencing go-to-market strategy and shaping our product roadmap by communicating what our prospects and customers need to be successful. In this role, you will report to the Director, who brings 15+ years of technical selling and solutions consulting experience in finance and SaaS.

What you’ll do
  • Present tailored demonstrations of Juniper Square’s technology solutions to technical audiences, virtually and in-person, with a focus on communicating business value

  • Conduct discovery calls to understand a prospect’s systems and technology stack, data flows, and workflows.

  • Synthesize customer needs in order to influence product roadmap, especially with regard to breaking into new asset classes

  • Create detailed and realistic proof of concepts which mirror our prospects’ fund structures and investment performance behaviors to help prospects envision how their operations and investor outcomes are improved with Juniper Square

  • Respond to RFPs positioning Juniper Square as the optimal solution to solve their problems

  • Maintain knowledge of the software’s product roadmap to win active deals which require functionality not yet live today as well as help customers understand the vision for where Juniper Square is going

  • Serve as the voice of Sales to provide commercial perspective in new product and service go-to-market initiatives

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4-7+ years of experience in private markets investments, private markets technology or consulting, software solutions consulting, or prospect or customer-facing experience in finance or financial technology. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, 10+ years of professional experience is equivalent.

  • Deeply curious to uncover prospect problems and a strong desire to solve these problems through creative problem-solving.

  • Low ego. We win as a team.

  • In-depth knowledge of financial and private markets concepts

  • Exceptional presentation and written communication skills

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
