ABOUT THE TEAM

The Core Operations team is responsible for a wide range of activities that are crucial to the facility and business line operating as efficiently as they can. Collaborating with the business lines and ensuring they are able to operate in the facility while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The Core Operations team plays a critical role in equipping employees with the infrastructure needed to excel in their roles. We partner with cross functional peers from Network Engineering / IT, Security, Food & Beverage and our Safety team. Together we design, develop, and deliver an operational facility.

ABOUT THE JOB

Anduril is a rapidly growing company seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as Space Planner supporting our Seattle and Bellevue locations. This individual would play a pivotal part in managing and forecasting how employees occupy space across office environments. This position is responsible for headcount alignment, scenario planning, and maintaining real-time accuracy of space data. As a connector between workplace strategy and business operations, the Space Planner ensures the right employees are in the right places—with scalability and agility built into every plan.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Partner with HR, Division Leaders, and Facilities to track seating assignments, occupancy, and future headcount needs
  • Develop stack plans, occupancy forecasts, and test fits to support growth, contraction, and reorganizations
  • Maintain space data integrity within space management software, including allocations, assignments, and moves
  • Collaborate with the workplace team to ensure seamless execution of seating changes and move coordination
  • Analyze space utilization trends and provide reports to senior leadership and Real Estate teams
  • Assist in maintaining occupancy-related layers in AutoCAD files and ensure alignment with floor plan standards
  • Manage Day-to-Day Moves, Adds, and Changes:
  • Assist with reconfiguration and furniture requests to meet workplace needs.
  • Conduct regular audits of seating assignments, office spaces and furniture to ensure accurate floorplans, office cleanliness, functionality, and compliance with company standards.
  • Manage ticketing request for seating and furniture
  • Manage office moves, reconfigurations, and space transitions from initiation to completion, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Develop project scopes, timelines, and budgets while ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate logistics, communication, and vendor activities to enable smooth project delivery.
  • Manage project budgets, track costs, and process purchase orders.
  • Oversee vendor performance for moving companies, furniture installers, and service providers.
  • Generate and distribute project progress reports, documentation, and updates.
  • Provide Support in other functions for the Facilities Operations team as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of experience in occupancy planning, corporate real estate, space planning, or workplace strategy
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to data accuracy
  • Familiarity with space management tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with large data sets
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Work off hours to meet project deadlines and accommodate project needs, including nights and weekends.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in managing occupancy for large, multi-site portfolios
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD or ability to interpret CAD drawings
  • Background in corporate real estate, facilities management, or workplace analytics
  • Experience supporting hybrid work or flexible seating models
US Salary Range
$98,000$130,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
