Remote positions are open to applicants based anywhere in the continental U.S. Hybrid positions are open to applicants based in the Phoenix, Arizona area. 

Position Summary:

This position manages the in-kind Cruise Line program, including handling booking requests for wishes on behalf of chapter program staff. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Corporate Alliances, Medical Affairs, Finance, as well as the corporate partner, in developing and coordinating this in-kind partnership and program.

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills for building and developing effective business relationships with national and chapter staff, vendors, and donors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with ability to handle multiple projects and deadline pressures.
  • Discretion with confidential and sensitive information.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manages and coordinates the Cruise Line in-kind program in support of chapter wish requests.
  • Advises and supports chapters on program utilization.
  • Collaborates with Corporate Alliances team in securing, developing, and optimizing this in-kind resource for chapters, ensuring alignment with chapter needs, developing efficient processes and trainings, and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Analyzes, tracks and reports on program utilization.
  • Synthesizes and shares chapter feedback to improve program impact.
  • Directly completes booking requests.
  • Prepares and updates program documentation, including request forms, process documents, and fact sheets.
  • Performs other job duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Experience with travel planning, including coordination of medical needs during travel.
  • 1-3 years of non-profit experience required; experience in Make-A-Wish chapter or other federated not-for-profit organization preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required, including demonstrated expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience with Salesforce systems preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to thrive in a remote-first environment
  • Travel required, up to 10%
  • May require work outside a traditional Monday – Friday work week, and outside normal business hours

$52,194$55,000 USD
