Senior SQL Server specialist to develop, debug, and optimize T‑SQL for large legal-services datasets. Analyze, standardize, and conform complex data, collaborate with architects and stakeholders, translate business requirements into data solutions, and lead technical solution development while managing tasks and deadlines.

Paradigm is seeking a SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist to support our client on complex Legal Services data projects. This role is ideal for a senior SQL professional with advanced T-SQL development, strong analytical problem-solving skills, experience working with large data sets, and the ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to business stakeholders.

As a SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist you will:
• Develop, debug, and test T-SQL code to address a wide range of technical and analytical problems
• Determine and implement effective strategies to explore, analyze, interpret, standardize, and conform complex datasets
• Collaborate with team members to determine the sufficiency of data and ensure alignment in requirements
• Assist Solutions Architects in the development of data processing plans that address the custom needs of each project
• Interface with business stakeholders to identify new and/or clarify existing requirements
• Manage and prioritize assigned tasks, ensuring deadlines are achieved, communicating appropriately about progress and obstacles
Requirements
Our skills and experience wish list includes:
• 10+ years of experience with SQL Server and/or other relational databases
• Advanced or expert-level experience developing T-SQL code
• Strong experience tuning T-SQL queries and optimizing database server performance
• Experience performing complex data analysis on very large data sets
• 5+ years of experience leading the development of technical solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work through under-defined problems
• Ability to understand complex business processes and adapt solutions to meet business needs
• Excellent communication skills with peers, managers, and business stakeholders
• Comfortable in consultative conversations and able to explain technical challenges and solutions to non-technical teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field strongly preferred
