This leader will engage directly with CISOs, CIOs, and senior healthcare executives, positioning cybersecurity services and technologies across risk, compliance, and security programs. • Own a national territory with full accountability for pipeline generation, deal execution, and revenue growth

  • Build pipeline from zero through proactive outbound efforts, networking, and industry engagement (conferences, events, referrals)

  • Develop and expand relationships with CISOs, security leaders, and executive buyers

  • Drive full-cycle enterprise sales from prospecting through close

  • Identify, shape, and close opportunities across cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance solutions

  • Lead strategic deal pursuits, working cross-functionally with delivery, product, and executive stakeholders

  • Navigate complex enterprise environments and influence multi-threaded decision processes

  • Deliver compelling solution narratives aligned to security risk, regulatory requirements, and business outcomes

  • Consistently manage multiple high-value opportunities across varying sales cycles (services + technology)

  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and executive communication

What you bring to the role:

  • Proven track record in cybersecurity sales

  • Demonstrated success as a hunter—building pipeline and closing net-new business

  • Established network of CISO / security executive relationships

  • Experience selling cybersecurity services, risk management, or security programs

  • Ability to ramp quickly and generate meaningful pipeline within the first 90 days

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-level decision-makers

  • Experience selling into enterprise healthcare systems or regulated industries

  • Self-starter with a high urgency, ownership mentality, and ability to operate independently

  • History of consistent performance and tenure

  • Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (HITRUST, NIST, HIPAA)

  • Background selling a mix of cybersecurity services and technology solutions

  • Familiarity with healthcare cybersecurity and risk management environments

  • Experience engaging in field-based selling, conferences, and relationship-driven pipeline generation

  • Prior exposure to emerging leadership responsibilities or team build-out

You may also bring this:

  • Experience with population health and value-based care segments.

  • Familiarity with enterprise healthcare technology solutions and complex solution spaces.

Preferred Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Postgraduate degree in Business, Computer Science, or related discipline preferred.

  • 7+ years of enterprise-level software industry sales experience.

  • 7+ years of strategic healthcare provider sales experience.

  • 10+ years direct enterprise sales experience selling to healthcare delivery organizations (preferred).

  • Demonstrated success in business development related to clinical, financial, and operational systems.

Information Security and Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Maintain compliance with training directives required by the organization pertaining to Information Security, Acceptable Use Policy and HIPAA Privacy and Security.

  • Adhere to and comply with the organizations Acceptable Use Policy.

  • Safeguard information system assets by identifying and reporting potential and actual security events to the organization Security and Compliance Officers.

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
