You approach ambiguity with discipline and sound judgment, gathering facts methodically and weighing risk before recommending or making decisions. You are trusted to handle confidential information, maintain objectivity, and act in the best interest of the company and the long-term health of the affiliate channel.
You work effectively across departments — including Affiliate, Legal, Support, and Investor Relations — and are capable of balancing competing priorities and perspectives. You communicate clearly, document thoroughly, and understand that your work directly impacts risk exposure, partner relationships, and business outcomes.
What You’ll Do:

- Actively investigate potential affiliate violations by gathering evidence, auditing traffic sources, and validating promotional methods
- Drive cross-functional reviews with Affiliate, Legal, Finance, and Investor Relations teams to align on risk assessment and outcomes
- Serve as the final escalation point for affiliate-related compliance issues originating from Customer Support and Product Support teams
- Be able to advocate for and strongly recommend enforcement decisions, including warnings, restrictions, or removal from the affiliate program
- Provide clear guidance to Product Support Manager to ensure teams are aware on how enforcement decisions should be communicated to customers and affiliates, including approved rationale and boundaries
- Proactively monitor affiliate activity and identify emerging risk patterns before they escalate
- Execute detailed traffic audits to determine source legitimacy, compliance with policy, and overall quality
- Run point on miscellaneous legal and compliance tasks tied to affiliate activity, ensuring timely follow-through and resolution
- Produce clear, defensible documentation that supports decisions and stands up to internal and external scrutiny
- Build and refine repeatable workflows for escalation, investigation, and enforcement as the affiliate channel scales
- Continuously improve how affiliate risk is identified, assessed, and resolved to protect revenue, brand trust, and legal exposure
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, compliance, trust & safety, risk analysis, operations, or a legal-adjacent role
- Strong investigative and analytical instincts
- Demonstrated experience evaluating policy-driven or compliance-related issues and supporting decisions that carry business or legal risk
- Hands-on experience reviewing, auditing, or investigating activity within a digital channel (affiliate, performance marketing, payments, platforms, or marketplaces)
- Proven ability to synthesize information from multiple sources (data, documentation, stakeholder input) and arrive at clear, defensible conclusions
- Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as Affiliate, Legal, Finance, Investor Relations,, or Operations
- Strong written documentation skills, including the ability to clearly and professionally explain findings, risk factors, and recommended actions when handling sensitive or confidential matters
- Comfort taking ownership of outcomes and following issues through to resolution, even when decisions are complex or unpopular
- Working knowledge of affiliate marketing practices, traffic sources, and common risk vectors (or demonstrated ability to quickly develop this expertise)
