Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
Job Description
The Senior Analyst, Technology Continuity, working under the direction of a Director of Technology Continuity, is a critical part of the Business Continuity/Crisis Management (BC/CM) team that will support, develop, maintain, exercise, and implement continuity and crisis management plans and solutions across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
• Liaise with key stakeholders to assist in the development and ongoing maintenance of technology continuity plans and exercises across the NBCU portfolio.
• Analyze technology continuity plans, identify gaps and suggest enhancements to address deficiencies to increase preparedness, response capabilities, and overall resiliency.
• Provide incident management support during events and disruptions.
• Assist in developing after action reports following incidents, exercises, and disruptions.
• Analyze and assist with designing continuity strategies for recovery of critical technology, and overall operational resiliency.
• Assist with the development of status reports on operations and individual business preparedness and recoverability as well as prepare management summary reports.
• Support enterprise BC/CM processes utilizing workflow tools (i.e. Fusion, JIRA, ESRI/ArcGIS, emergency notification solutions, and other tools as needed).
• Identify and analyze critical infrastructure that supports NBCU Technologies.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in business continuity, technology continuity, disaster recovery, or related role
• Demonstrated success in supporting large-scale system implementations
Desired Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Project Management, Business Continuity, or related field
• Experience as a Salesforce Administrator
• Experience developing proactive strategies for large organizations with multiple locations and multiple business lines
• Ability to provide excellent client-service while also able to influence business partners with alternate approaches or solutions
• Ability to interact effectively with many levels of management
• Comfortable working in a federated model using influencing and supporting skills
• Excellent personal leadership skills - proven ability to build, develop and motivate a team
• Proactive, well organized, and results-oriented
• Experience managing complex projects and providing solutions to business challenges
• Prior experience in production or media environments
• Proven success in process improvement for large, complex operations

• Tech-savvy - You have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, databases, and cloud technologies. You are an MS Office whiz and can take on new software with ease.

Additional Information:
This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
