What We Need: 

We are seeking a highly experienced, strategic, and results-driven Sr. Business Development Associate to accelerate the continued growth of Synapse Health's Equip business. This role is responsible for identifying, cultivating, negotiating, and closing complex enterprise partnerships with hospice, long-term care, skilled nursing, and other post-acute healthcare organizations.

As a senior individual contributor, you will independently manage strategic opportunities from initial engagement through contract execution while serving as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders. Working closely with executive leadership, Operations, Product, Network, and Implementation teams, you will help shape growth strategy, strengthen market presence, and drive long-term business success.

What You Will Do: 

Strategic Business Development

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive national growth across Equips target markets.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue high-value enterprise partnerships.
  • Manage complex sales cycles from prospecting through contract execution.

Executive Relationship Management

  • Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers.
  • Lead executive presentations, negotiations, and solution discussions.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor throughout the sales process.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Operations, Product, Finance, Network Management, and Implementation to ensure successful customer onboarding.
  • Influence internal stakeholders to remove barriers and improve customer experience.
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive insights.

Growth & Market Expansion

  • Represent Synapse at conferences and industry events.
  • Mentor junior business development team members.
  • Support commercial strategy and expansion initiatives.

What You Have:  

At Synapse Health, we’ve intentionally built a culture rooted in kindness, collaboration, and creativity, qualities we consider essential for every team member. Additional requirements include: 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of business development, healthcare sales, account management, or strategic partnerships.
  • Extensive experience in hospice, DME, post-acute care, or healthcare services
  • Demonstrated success selling complex enterprise solutions.
  • Proven history of achieving revenue goals.
  • Experience negotiating large strategic contracts.
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal direction.

  • Existing executive relationships throughout hospice, SNF, LTC, or post-acute markets.
  • Experience selling technology solutions to hospice.
  • Strong executive presence.
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional business acumen.
  • Ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Track record of identifying new market opportunities and driving sustainable growth.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $83,200 to 104,000 annually. This range reflects the anticipated compensation at the time of posting. Final compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, demonstrated skills, internal equity, and prevailing market conditions. Compensation discussions are encouraged throughout the hiring process. This role includes both a competitive base salary and an annual incentive plan based on individual sales performance, reflecting the results-driven nature of this position. Details on target incentive compensation will be shared during the interview process.
