We’re looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Security Operations platform team. In this highly dynamic and exciting role, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and qualifying sales opportunities through a combination of inbound lead follow-up and outbound prospecting
  • Engaging and building relationships with internal partners, channel partners, and external prospects to develop new business opportunities
  • Scheduling meetings for Territory Account Managers and preparing briefing notes to support sales engagement
  • Maintaining accurate records and clean data in Salesforce.com and supporting shared resources
  • Meeting or exceeding weekly, monthly, and quarterly outreach and activity targets

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 3+ years of business development or sales development experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization utilizing phone, social media, and email
  • Proficiency in SFDC (Salesforce.com) and experience with Outreach or similar email sequencing tools
  • Strong time management skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience in the information security industry
  • Experience in both startup and post-acquisition environments
  • Demonstrated ability to drive internal sales effort for existing clients

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$69,300$99,000 USD
