Sr. Compliance Audit Analyst (Remote)

Responsible for proactively monitoring compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, policy directives and ethical requirements for Quest Diagnostics lines of business. 

• Lead auditor responsibilities for assigned audits.  Responsible for coordinating all aspects of the audit process, including risk assessment discussions, communicating with the laboratory/region/function (including opening and closing meetings), directing the audit team through the audit, compiling the preliminary audit report, working with the laboratory/region/function to remediate all findings and reporting status updates by the end of each month. 
• Audit specialist for assigned audit protocols.  Responsible for performing assigned audit protocols for all scheduled audits in a timely manner and working with the policy guardian(s) and functional owners to evaluate and update audit protocols on an ongoing basis. 
• Deep-Dive Audits.  Responsible for the performance of specialized audits as needed. 
• Project Management.  Responsible for the performance of special projects as needed.  
• Process Improvement.  Responsible for working with cross-functional teams on process improvement initiatives as needed. 

Required Work Experience:  

• A minimum of five years in the laboratory industry with a background in compliance, billing or medical technology
• 3 years proven project management skills

Knowledge:  

• Working knowledge of Compliance Policies and impact of potential violations
• Knowledge of test pricing, CPT coding and reimbursement processes

Skills:  

• Proficiency in Access, Excel, Word and Outlook required
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
• Excellent leadership abilities, integrity, trustworthiness, commitment, resilience, high energy and motivation

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
