The Sr. Compliance Audit Analyst leads audit processes, coordinates with teams, performs compliance audits, manages projects, and drives process improvements.
Responsible for proactively monitoring compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, policy directives and ethical requirements for Quest Diagnostics lines of business.
Responsibilities- Lead auditor responsibilities for assigned audits. Responsible for coordinating all aspects of the audit process, including risk assessment discussions, communicating with the laboratory/region/function (including opening and closing meetings), directing the audit team through the audit, compiling the preliminary audit report, working with the laboratory/region/function to remediate all findings and reporting status updates by the end of each month.
- Audit specialist for assigned audit protocols. Responsible for performing assigned audit protocols for all scheduled audits in a timely manner and working with the policy guardian(s) and functional owners to evaluate and update audit protocols on an ongoing basis.
- Deep-Dive Audits. Responsible for the performance of specialized audits as needed.
- Project Management. Responsible for the performance of special projects as needed.
- Process Improvement. Responsible for working with cross-functional teams on process improvement initiatives as needed.
Required Work Experience:
- A minimum of five years in the laboratory industry with a background in compliance, billing or medical technology
- 3 years proven project management skills
Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of Compliance Policies and impact of potential violations
- Knowledge of test pricing, CPT coding and reimbursement processes
Skills:
- Proficiency in Access, Excel, Word and Outlook required
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Excellent leadership abilities, integrity, trustworthiness, commitment, resilience, high energy and motivation
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
