As a member of the Operational Analytics & Insights team, you'll utilize your data engineering skills to design, build, and maintain data infrastructure to make data accessible for various applications and users. You will be responsible for creating and optimizing data pipelines that transform raw data into usable formats for data scientists, business analysts, and other data consumers to interpret results to lead the development of data-driven solutions for Spectrum's business problems.

$88,200.00 and $156,600.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.

WHAT OUR DATA ENGINEERS ENJOY MOST
- Data Infrastructure Design and Development: Design, build, and maintain data warehouses, databases, and other data storage systems.
- ETL Data Pipeline Creation: Develop and optimize data pipelines to collect, clean, transform, and load data into the appropriate storage systems.
- Data Quality Assurance: Implement processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure data accessibility.
- Data Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Data Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of data systems and pipelines.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain documentation of data infrastructure and pipelines and share knowledge with other team members.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Data manipulation and statistical modeling as a Scientist, Consultant, Architect, DBA, or Engineer - 5+ Years; Programming Experience - 5+ Years
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, or operations research, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Skills: Outstanding interpersonal, communication and stakeholder relationship skills; One or more scripting, analysis, or ETL languages and ability to rapidly learn new languages or techniques; Knowledge of large data sets and the tools to obtain, transform, and store data on Big Data, cloud, and streaming services; Knowledge of data warehousing and data lake technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, etc.; Distributed computing tools such as Hadoop, Spark, or Map/Reduce; Data visualization tools like Excel and Tableau; Familiarity with the properties of the major families of machine learning techniques
- Abilities: Work cross-functionally to solve complex problems; Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; Perform involved and independent research and analysis; Maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information
- Hybrid Schedule: Four in-office days weekly
