We are actively seeking a Sr. Developer, Opensource Dbs. The role will report directly to the Sr. Manager.  The Sr. Developer, Opensource Dbs. will be based in the US and may work from a remote office.  

Position Summary

The Sr. Developer, Opensource Dbs. is responsible for migrating database systems across Vendors and operating systems.  The job scope includes implementing software solutions for ERP compatibility and contributing to advanced development initiatives including AI integration and HUB architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead database migration projects, including MSSQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL conversions for enterprise clients.

• Design and implement migration strategies ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.

• Collaborate with engineering teams on cloud integration (AWS, Azure) and automation workflows.

• Provide technical leadership for complex migration initiatives and performance tuning.

• Support client engagements requiring project management, client facing skills, advanced technical troubleshooting and secure configuration.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering roles.

• Proven track record in troubleshooting and system-level programming.

• Experience with ERP systems and enterprise application support.

Preferred Skills

• Deep experience in PostgreSQL, MongoDb, MSSQL, Oracle, and cloud platforms.

• Strong background in automation, scripting, and performance optimization.

• Familiarity with security best-practices and secret management tools.

• Proven ability to work across global teams and manage critical incidents

Compensation is based on role, location, and level of applicable experience. 

Rimini’s target pay for each position is available upon request during the applicant’s Interview process.

The general salary range for this type of role is 130k - 190k depending on skills and experience.
