Sr. Director Digital Experience - Remote USA

The Sr. Director Digital Experience leads and evolves Myriad’s digital platforms across the full lifecycle of patients, providers, and partners. This role owns the customer and patient portal ecosystems, EMR/EHR integrations, and leads a cross-functional UX team. They are responsible for leading the team that develops the requirements for seamless, intuitive, and impactful digital experiences for the clinician, patient and the health systems across all of Myriad’s business units. This leader works closely with Product, Engineering, Clinical, Sales, and Compliance teams to translate business and user needs into best-in-class digital experiences that scale.

Responsibility
  1. Digital Strategy & Leadership
    1. Own and evolve the vision, roadmap, and execution for Myriad’s patient and provider digital experiences, including portals and integrated solutions.
    2. Ensure that portal and integration initiatives support key business objectives, regulatory compliance, and usability standards.
    3. Serve as a thought leader and advocate for user-centered design and accessibility across the enterprise.
    4. Align digital strategy with company goals around engagement, retention, operational efficiency, and clinical outcomes.
  2. Product & Platform Ownership
    1. Lead the development and optimization of digital portals for patients and healthcare providers, ensuring secure, intuitive, and personalized access to genetic testing services and results.
    2. Drive EMR/EHR integration strategy, supporting seamless provider workflows, order management, complaint data exchange and efficient clinical workflows.
    3. Collaborate with product and engineering leads on platform architecture, interoperability, and performance at scale.
  3. Team & Cross-Functional Leadership
    1. Manage and mentor a team of UX designers, Service Providers, and digital product managers.
    2. Build a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the digital experience team.
    3. Ensure consistent brand and service experience across all digital platforms.
    4. Maintain strong relationships with healthcare partners, technology vendors and key internal stakeholders.
    5. Partner with Commercial, Clinical Operations, Legal, Regulatory, and IT stakeholders to ensure compliance and alignment.
  4. User Experience & Design
    1. Use analytics and customer feedback to improve engagement, usability and customer satisfaction.
    2. Leverage user feedback and analytics to drive continuous improvement.
    3. Track success metrics and report on ROI of digital initiatives.
Qualifications
  1. 10+ years of experience in digital product management, UX, or platform leadership roles, with 3years in a senior leadership capacity.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience; graduate degree in Healthcare IT or related field preferred.
  3. Proven experience in healthcare, health tech, or life sciences, ideally involving patient portals, provider platforms, or EMR integrations.
  4. Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and delivering digital experiences at scale.
  5. Deep knowledge of user-centered design methodologies and design systems.
  6. Experience navigating HIPAA, GDPR, and other healthcare privacy and compliance frameworks.
  7. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills.
  8. Experience with genetic testing in Oncology and clinical decision support tools preferred.
  9. Familiarity with secure authentication frameworks, consent management, and digital identity in healthcare preferred.
