About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Director of Enterprise AI to lead the strategy, execution, and governance of AI-powered solutions across the enterprise. This role requires a seasoned leader with a management consulting background, deep expertise in AI-driven business process automation, and the ability to engage with executive leadership to drive AI adoption at scale.

The ideal candidate will have experience building and leading cross-functional AI teams, including product managers, analysts, data scientists, and AI developers, while fostering a strong culture of collaboration and innovation. They should also have expertise in AI governance frameworks, leading SteerCo discussions for strategic decision-making, and working with product engineering teams to develop AI solutions while evaluating buy vs. build approaches.

A strong business application understanding across Salesforce, ERP, HR/Legal applications, and Data Lake solutions is essential to ensure seamless AI integration into enterprise systems.

What You'll Do:

  • Define and execute the Enterprise AI strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and innovation initiatives.

  • Lead and manage a cross-functional AI team, including product managers, analysts, data scientists, and AI developers, to deliver impactful AI solutions.

  • Develop and oversee AI governance frameworks, ensuring compliance, risk management, and responsible AI adoption.

  • Lead SteerCo meetings to drive AI-related decision-making, prioritization, and investment strategies.

  • Drive AI-powered business process automation, enhancing operational efficiency across Salesforce, ERP, HR, Legal applications, and Data Lake solutions.

  • Engage with executive leadership, presenting AI capabilities, roadmaps, and measurable business impact.

  • Collaborate with product engineering teams to develop AI solutions while evaluating buy vs. build decisions.

  • Ensure seamless integration of AI solutions into enterprise applications, optimizing workflows and data-driven decision-making.

  • Identify and assess emerging AI technologies, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of AI innovation.

What You'll Need:

  • 15+ years of combined experience in AI, digital transformation, or enterprise data technology leadership roles.

  • Proven ability to build, lead, and mentor cross-functional AI teams, including product managers, analysts, data scientists, and AI developers.

  • Background in management consulting, with expertise in business process automation and AI adoption strategies.

  • Experience in developing AI governance frameworks, risk assessment, and policy enforcement.

  • Proven ability to lead and facilitate SteerCo discussions, influencing executive-level decision-making.

  • Experience working with product engineering teams, guiding the development of AI solutions.

  • Strong business application knowledge, including Salesforce, ERP, HR/Legal applications, and Data Lake solutions.

  • Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, enterprise data ecosystems, and automation frameworks.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in AI ethics, regulatory compliance, and responsible AI practices.

  • Track record of successfully leading AI transformation projects in large-scale organizations.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based AI/ML platforms and enterprise data architectures.

The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $210,000 - $310,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
