Position OverviewThe Senior Director of Operations is a high‑impact national leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, service quality, and sustainable growth across multiple states and regions. This role provides strategic oversight for complex, highly regulated operations within GT Independence’s fiscal intermediary and self‑direction programs, while leading and developing regional Directors of Operations and senior leaders.
Partnering closely with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams, the Senior Director ensures consistent service delivery, regulatory compliance, and operational scalability while supporting the organization’s long‑term strategic goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesNational Operational Leadership
- Provide senior‑level oversight of multi‑state operations, ensuring high‑quality, consistent service delivery.
- Develop, standardize, and implement scalable operational frameworks, workflows, and best practices.
- Monitor regional performance and lead corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for complex or high‑risk operational issues.
Strategic Planning & Growth
- Execute enterprise‑level strategic initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
- Partner with executive leadership on national growth strategies, new market expansion, and program launches.
- Establish, monitor, and analyze KPIs and performance dashboards to drive results.
Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead, coach, and develop regional Directors of Operations and senior operational leaders.
- Build strong leadership pipelines, encourage accountability, and promote a culture of continuous learning.
- Support talent retention, succession planning, and organizational design efforts.
Quality, Compliance & Stakeholder Engagement
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and program‑specific regulations.
- Partner with Compliance and Quality teams to mitigate risk and maintain audit readiness.
- Represent GT Independence with state agencies, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Promote a participant‑centered, quality‑driven operational culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Human Services, or a related field (required).
- Master’s degree preferred or equivalent senior‑level operational leadership experience.
- 8+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, including senior or executive roles.
- Proven success leading multi‑state or national operations in regulated environments.
- Strong background in home care, home health, personal care, fiscal intermediary services, or similar industries.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
This is a remote, national role with travel required based on business needs, including visits to state operations, partners, and key meetings.
