We’re Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too — driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good – you’ve come to the right place.

Salesforce is looking for technically strong, energetic, highly collaborative, and passionate leaders to lead our software engineering teams! We’re seeking a leader with deep expertise in UI technologies, AI-assisted experience generation, and content management systems—someone who has successfully built and scaled large, high-performance UI platforms. You will run and lead teams of exceptional developers and keep quality, innovation, and user-centric design top of mind.
We work in a collaborative environment, and we value open communication and feedback, code reviews, and making learning fun!

Your Impact:

  • Drive the execution and delivery of front-end focused features and experience platforms by collaborating with cross-functional teams including architects, product owners, AI/ML experts, and engineers

  • Lead the design and delivery of scalable, reusable UI platforms and frameworks serving a diverse set of applications and teams

  • Make critical architectural and strategic decisions in experience generation, leveraging AI and machine learning techniques to personalize and optimize user journeys

  • Foresee potential design and technical challenges and resolve them proactively

  • Daily management of stand-ups as the Scrum Master for engineering teams

  • Partner with Product and UX teams to align on objectives, priorities, tradeoffs, and risk—especially in user experience design and CMS integration

  • Ensure teams have clear priorities, adequate resources, and the technical guidance to succeed

  • Empower teams to self-organize and continuously improve delivery velocity and quality

  • Provide mentorship, career development, and hands-on technical coaching to engineers

  • Foster a strong culture of collaboration, experimentation, and excellence

  • Participate in architecture discussions, platform planning, and governance

  • Advocate for innovation in UI engineering, CMS design, and intelligent experience generation

  • Support hiring efforts by selecting and retaining top-tier engineering talent

  • Occasionally contribute to development to stay sharp and understand product intricacies

Required Skills:

  • A related technical degree required

  • 10+ years of experience leading software engineering teams with a strong track record in high-scale, UI-intensive product development

  • Proven expertise in building and maintaining large-scale UI platforms (e.g., design systems, component libraries, rendering engines, etc.)

  • Experience integrating and scaling AI-assisted or ML-powered experiences across web or app platforms

  • Background in building or integrating enterprise-grade Content Management Systems (CMS)

  • Deep understanding of modern front-end technologies such as React, Web Components, TypeScript, and performance optimization techniques

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with agile methodologies and acting as a Scrum Master

  • Hands-on knowledge of software engineering best practices including CI/CD, testing strategies, accessibility, and internationalization

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor senior engineers and lead with empathy and clarity

  • Experience working on customer-facing products with fast release cycles and high reliability requirements
