What's the role?

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Vice President, Financial Planning & Strategic Finance serves as a key member of the Finance Leadership Team and the Company's Senior Leadership Team. This high performing leader will own the Company's financial planning, forecasting, strategic finance and debt lender reporting functions while partnering closely with the CEO, CFO, and business leaders to drive profitable growth, informed decision-making and Board reporting.

As the Company's senior finance business partner, the Vice President helps shape corporate strategy, and build a scalable finance organization to support the next phase of growth. This position offers significant executive visibility and represents an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished finance leader seeking a path to Chief Financial Officer.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Lead the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, long-range planning, and monthly forecasting processes.
  • Own consolidated financial planning, reporting, and performance analysis across the organization.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO, CEO, and Senior Leadership Team on financial performance, strategy, and operational decision-making.
  • Act as a key member of the Finance Leadership Team, helping shape the strategic direction of Finance and broader company initiatives.
  • Lead executive, Board of Directors, and debt lender reporting, including covenant compliance.
  • Partner closely with Accounting to ensure alignment between actual results, forecasts, budgets, and external reporting.
  • Collaborate with leaders across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Marketing, HR and Strategy to support strategic planning and resource allocation.
  • Lead scenario planning, financial modeling, investment analysis, pricing analysis, and strategic business initiatives.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, systems, reporting, and planning capabilities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team consisting of a Senior Manager and Senior Financial Analyst.
  • Partner with the CFO on financing activities, capital structure planning, M&A support, and other strategic corporate initiatives.

What you offer...

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including 10+ years of FP&A leadership.
  • Demonstrated success within private equity-backed, high-growth SaaS organizations strongly preferred.
  • Experience presenting to Boards of Directors and partnering with executive leadership teams.
  • Experience managing debt facilities, lender reporting, and covenant compliance.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS metrics including ARR, GRR, NRR, CAC, LTV, Rule of 40, and cash flow performance.
  • Exceptional financial modeling, forecasting, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and develop high-performing finance teams.
  • Experience in multi-entity and multi-currency environments preferred.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct, Salesforce, and modern FP&A platforms is an asset.
  • CPA, CA and/or MBA preferred.
  • EdTech experience is a strong asset.
