BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is hiring a Senior EIT Project Manager. In this role, you’ll lead the successful delivery of complex, high impact initiatives across Cybersecurity and Infrastructure and Operations, driving measurable outcomes in risk reduction, system resiliency, and secure technology enablement.
This role is accountable for translating strategic priorities into executable plans and consistently delivering results through strong governance, financial stewardship, and proactive risk management. The ideal candidate will effectively navigate cross-functional dependencies, influence senior stakeholders, and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical execution.
Candidates with previous experience working with BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee (specifically in Cost Center 0909) strongly preferred.

Job Responsibilities
- Independently manages enterprise projects.
- Updates and maintains current project information within the established project management tool.
- Manages scope and the execution of change management processes.
- Ensures the procurement of hardware, software and human resources as needed for the project.
- Manages project costs, and works with project owners, stakeholders, and delivery team to manage project quality.
- Tracks and reports risks and issues.
- Proactively evaluates project activities.
- Builds contingency plans.
- Executes corrective actions when necessary.
- Implements risk response plans to manage risk.
Job Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience.
Experience
- 5 years experience in business or information technology project delivery.
Skills/Certifications
- Fluent in Agile, Scaled Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experienced leader, motivating cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
- Knowledge and experience coordinating with and facilitating on- and off-shore development teams.
- Champion of the established project delivery model and best practices.
- Must be a team player, be organized, and handle multiple projects.
- Has a successful track record completing projects on time and on budget.
- Must be comfortable with professionally challenging key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
