The Global Events team is responsible for delivering Binance's most strategic and high-profile experiences around the world. From flagship conferences and executive summits to VIP experiences, community events and creator programmes, we create memorable moments that strengthen our brand, engage our users and support business growth.

Our team manages a diverse portfolio of global events, including flagship events, sponsorship activations and community initiatives. We work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Business Development, Legal, Security, Operations and regional teams to execute world-class events across multiple markets.

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Global Events Manager to join our growing Global Events team. This role will play a key part in delivering Binance's flagship global events while independently leading several strategic programmes throughout the year.

You will partner closely with the Global Events Lead to plan and execute large-scale conferences, executive summits and immersive experiences, while also taking ownership of mid-sized initiatives and other strategic programmes.

This is a highly hands-on role that requires exceptional project management skills, strong stakeholder management and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.

If you enjoy building experiences from the ground up, managing multiple complex projects simultaneously and working with global cross-functional teams, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Global Events Lead in delivering Binance's flagship events, and other strategic global initiatives.

  • Independently lead smaller global programmes and executive experiences from concept through execution.

  • Manage end-to-end event planning including budgeting, timelines, production, venue management, procurement, registration, logistics, hospitality, onsite operations and post-event reporting.

  • Lead multiple concurrent projects across different regions while maintaining exceptional execution quality and attention to detail.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Product, Business Development, Security, Legal, Procurement, Finance and regional teams to ensure seamless event delivery.

  • Work closely with external agencies, production partners, venues and suppliers to deliver world-class event experiences.

  • Identify process improvements and scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency across the team's event portfolio.

  • Support global initiatives beyond your primary portfolio as business priorities evolve.

  • Support or lead the execution of webinar and virtual event formats as required, ensuring high-quality delivery across digital channels.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of professional event management experience, preferably managing international conferences, large-scale events.

  • Proven experience delivering complex events with multiple workstreams and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Exceptional project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage several high-priority projects simultaneously.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment with limited structure and changing priorities.

  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive in identifying solutions.

  • Positive, high-energy, fun and creative mindset, with the ability to bring ideas to life and contribute to engaging, memorable event experiences.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with experience working across global teams and senior leadership.

  • Hands-on approach with a willingness to be involved in both strategic planning and operational execution.

  • Experience managing external agencies, vendors and production partners.

  • Willingness to travel internationally for approximately 30% of the time.

  • Ability to travel with minimal visa restrictions is highly preferred.

  • Fluent English (spoken and written) is required.

  • Experience within the crypto, fintech or technology industry is a plus.

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
