The Senior Manager, Digital Product Strategy leads the enterprise digital product strategy for Solenis across all business divisions. In this role, you will create and deliver a unified product roadmap that connects corporate priorities to high-value digital investments, driving both growth and operational productivity.

Your work will focus on guiding new product innovation (NPI) initiatives and integrating automated digital solutions directly into customer business processes using IoT and AI. By establishing regular governance and reporting routines, you will align division-specific product owners, manage project milestones, track risks, and proactively resolve cross-divisional conflicts before they cause delivery delays.

Additionally, you will handle demand planning, feature prioritization, and success measurement against digital KPIs. Partnering closely with eCommerce and Digital Customer Experience leaders, you will build a pipeline for a customer self-service portal and launch new digital service revenue streams separate from core chemical and equipment sales. Ultimately, you will bring strong problem-solving skills to navigate a complex matrix structure, streamlining digital delivery and reducing risks across the entire company.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and deliver an integrated New Product Innovation (NPI) and connected services roadmap to drive growth, value, and scale across all business divisions.
  • Manage a portfolio of digital projects using IoT and AI to automate customer business processes and enhance Solenis's offerings.
  • Lead demand planning, feature prioritization, risk management, and milestone tracking across divisions to ensure on-time delivery against digital KPIs.
  • Manage, mentor, and build a team of division-specific digital product owners while establishing clear product ownership standards.
  • Partner with eCommerce and Digital Customer Experience leaders to build a customer portal pipeline and launch new digital service revenue streams.
  • Coordinate across multiple leadership tiers and a complex matrix organization to maximize operational efficiency and reduce delivery risks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in digital strategy, product management, or portfolio leadership.
  • Proven track record managing teams of product managers and overseeing multiple concurrent roadmaps.
  • Strong background navigating complex matrix organizations.
  • Experience in B2B, industrial, or manufacturing sectors is highly preferred.

Additional Knowledge and Skills:

  • Mastery of Agile frameworks, Scrum, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Deep understanding of customer portals, IoT platforms, and connected services strategy.
  • Strong financial acumen, including business cases, KPIs, ROI tracking, and value assessment.
  • Proven ability in cross-functional stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and change management.
  • Proficiency in data analytics, vendor management, and executive presentation skills.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
